WPX has become member of the HKO group

Effective August 1st, 2026, WPX has become a part of the HKO group in Oberhausen. The WPX branch in Troisdorf will retain its brand identity, will continue to develop innovative technologies and to supply its customers with great products, and as the WPX team committed to all of this!

faserkeramische Brandschutzfolie

Die von der WPX entwickelte Brandschutzfolie ist zwar nur 0,5 mm dick, schützt aber den Batteriedeckel im E-Auto vor den bis zu 1.200°C heißen, zerstörerischen Jets, die beim Thermal Runaway einer Lithium-Ionenbatterie aus dem Überdruckventil einer Batteriezelle austreten können! Damit kann die UN-Norm GTR-20 erfüllt werden, die beim Ausbrechen eines Batteriebrandes für die Fahrzeuginsassen 5 Minuten Zeit fordert, um das Fahrzeug zu verlassen, bevor Gase oder Flammen in die Fahrgastzelle eindringen.
